Out client, a $300+ Million Non Profit organization, is adding an Accounting Manager to their team.
In this role the ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Overseeing all financial aspects of the organization, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing budgets, and complying with relevant regulations.
- Financial Reporting - Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide accurate insights into the organization's financial health.
- Accounting Operations - Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management; Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.
- Strategic Planning - Provide financial analysis and insights to inform strategic decision-making within the organization.
- Team Leadership - Lead and mentor a team of accounting staff, assigning tasks, providing training, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 8+ years of experience in the above duties and underlying responsibilities
- Non Profit Industry Accounting Experience Preferred
- CPA or MBA a plus
