We are immediately hiring individuals to facilitate the public distribution of COVID-19 vaccines at NYSDOH Point of Distribution (POD) sites, local health departments and other health care providers engaged in the COVID-19 vaccination effort. 

This is a great opportunity to make a difference in your community and help the state in an important way.

At the POD, you may rotate between two similar roles: Inventory Support and Runner.  There will be paid video training and orientation prior to starting work.

PODs are staffed 7 days a week. Shifts are 7am – 7pm.


  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Skills in writing and reporting information.
  • Two years experience working in a retail inventory, mailroom, warehouse, parts department, hospital/medical supply or other similar settings.
